Considering the Gladiator Brochure states that a single Gladiator can destroy a Corvette then a Tali and 4 Gladiators should be able to kill a Destroyer, but a bit of practice never hurt.

Plus we can level it out. Have the gladiators do the first run to see how many of them it would take to take it down. If it takes more than the 4 of them, the Tali can finish it off, as well as act as a commander ship for the group. Plus, just in case they have anything else in the area it helps to have that extra firepower handy.

The real trick is bypassing the fighters(Which is why you said add Hornets.) and the ASA turrets on the Destroyer. If all we need is those few in number ships then our Special Forces Wing's bombing group is gonna be OP and I will thoroughly enjoy it.

My biggest concern is if the bomber group encounters a Vanduul Stinger or 2, as they have the ordinance to make Hornet's cry, particularly if they already have a screen of Blades, Scythes and Glaives. I guess this is also the part where good recon comes into play.

As for the ASA, if the bombers can come in at cruise mode to the Destroyer's aft and cut back to combat speeds before it can come about they should be ok. It would definitely be a hit and fade attack, with all the bombers deploying torpedoes then getting out of there as fast as possible. More of a probe attack or a harassment raid.

With a total of 600 'Tali's to unleash hell with, I'm certain that we could very well start battle with a three prong sortie of Tali's, Gladiators and fighter escorts to hammer the three primary point of entry systems so that the fleets can move in and establish a beachhead.

Technically we could field more bombers at once if we have carriers large enough to bring them with the Russian Nesting Doll method of instancing. Gladiators work very well in this regard, but they number in at over 200 making them 1/3rd the amount of Retaliators we have, but to be fair how many carrier capable capital ships would we have to even be able to do that by end of Beta. Considering this means the 4 wave bombing run including Gladiators and mixed low count Vanguard Harbingers would be a good opening move with recon intel.

So the Idris can carry 3 ships in it's hanger. How much can the Endeavor carry? And what are other potential pocket carriers? The Caterpillar?

Endeavor is said to carry 2 Cutlass Reds if it is the Hospital Ship version. The Caterpillar can carry Dragonflies, presumably 6-8 of them per modular slot. The Javelin can also carry ships, but the numbers are unknown and predicted low/the same in number due to it's role and elevator style hangar. That's about it,unless you want to count the Connie and Carrack which have a single parasite fighter each. Larger known ships numbers are unclear. Actual pocket carriers are likely to not even be released yet, like an unnamed Drake ship for example.
