Unaffiliated Retaliator Pilots Sound Off! Also...Crewmembers Needed

I have a Retaliator (and a few other ships).  I plan on leading off with it, and would like to hook up with any other ungrouped Retaliator pilots and potential crewmembers...safety in numbers, as the old saying goes.

Anyone who flies something else, but will need a spot if their main ride gets destroyed...we can REALLY use crewmembers/gunners.

How about it, gang?

I don't have a retaliator heavy bomber, but I have a gladiator light bomber so if you want to hook up with as a bomber group, i'm game :-)

Hey guys, got an idea I'd like to run by you. A couple of us are trying to organize an SAR squadron for the lone wolves, but we are not getting much in the way of recruits. As I was looking for alternatives, I saw your thread about the bomber squad. If we get to a point where we are ready to formulate actual attack plans and we still don't have enough ships for a dedicated SAR squad, would you be open to letting us fly with your bombers?

Just an idea (still too early to really decide much), but we could provide supplemental fire support and escort as well as an on-station, squad-dedicated SAR team. I have a feeling the bombers are going to have some fairly high attrition rates, and having a few cutlasses in your back pocket may save some lives.

If we can get a full squadron put together for SAR, I would prefer if we stayed unattached to any particular group. This would allow us to be more pro-active in our rescue efforts and focus our ships where they may be needed the most. But, if we only have a small handful of ships, we would be better off combining with a more specialized group, such as the bomber squadron.

What are your thoughts on a joint task force? Would you prefer to keep your group bombers only or would you be open to having a few SAR dedicated ships with you?

Again, its way early, so we're really just looking at options rather than looking for any kind of hard commitment.

Aye, I'll fly my Retaliator in a pack of lone wolves; man a turret if me ship goes down without me; and then go on to "Multirole as Needed" in whatever heap I can dig out of the scrap pile.
