Yeah thanks M8snah you all can say your critique no worries its an developing step. But in the End trust me we will have cool Badges - Poster etc.The Slogan well is changeable no problem. I was a SF guy in the Greek army nearly 10 years so I know what the Ethos should be - I would love to have a Black Ops Squad with the quote Swift Silent Deadly....Looking forward to this. cheersCrow
I actually liked the "First on Site; Last on Sanity." motto (it fits my planed scouting method perfectly), but I can see how others may find it derogatory. The latin one is a close second though.I do think we should have something other than a skull though, that seems more for something like spec ops, boarders, or the heavy assault forces. I liked the ghost w/ binoculars idea from the other thread, perhaps try that but in a more realistic style to match the other stuff. I think I've actually got a pretty good idea for that, I'll try it out.Okay I know I suck at Photoshop but this should be good enough for a rough concept: a ghost with the rags being from a ghillie suit, holding a pair of binoculars and a silenced sniper rifle.
Cool Stuff Crow.
Looks cool. Thanks for the work you put into it. I put the badge up in their thread for the recon guys to consider. So might want to keep an eye on that thread for comments too. Am including Jaustin89's comment and his pic for further inspiration.
MarinesIt has to be the Sword with the WingsRegards Crow
We need a little humor in some of these patches as well, if we can get different variants to compare. From my time in the military, there tends to be some humor, ranging from light-hearted to black humor. So if we can get some spares mocked up for comparison and eventual voting, that'd be handy. One patch I saw in Afghanistan that I think would work well for our S&R guys was a Blackhawk airlifting a donkey that said "Burning Gas To Save Your Ass."For Special Forces a good one would be "Kicking Them Right In The Logisticals." So if you guys can think of some versions like that, that'd be fun to compare them.
