All limited ships (except for the Scythe and Idris-M) will be available

I just got this from Sandi, I'm sure many have:

The wait lists take up too much time in customer service for the one or two ships that may come in every six months.
All other limited ships will be going on sale for one day before the 26th and we will also release that schedule - In which case I will close this ticket as we are closing out all waitlists this week.

I won't have that kind of money till the middle of December, I'd be willing to put in $100 or so if people are interested in a guild ship type thing.

I think I'm going to pass on the Idris, if I even am online when they go up for sale. The other Hornet variants, though, are a different story

I am honestly bumbed out because I was trying to get my Idris-P converted to an Idris-M and I got the similar message...

Speaking as an Idris Owner .... Who still hasn't even had the chance to get inside his ship and enjoy the life-support systems yet... You will still have to realize that Cap Ship is still going to be the largest costing ship in your own personal fleet. So you have to ask yourself are you willing to spend hour's on hour's of in-game time working up the funds to keep it functioning and running around in space? If not you could always offer to help another Idris Capt. with keeping their ship in space, or ask others to help support you once the verse goes live.
The Idris is meant to be a Organization Ship something for PMC's and Corp's and large groups are planning to make use of for daily jobs. It will require actual people to stay the most effective on the field of battle, but NPC's cost money to be crew.

Please don't view this is me trying to say don't get one but more along the lines to help you think about your decision if your un-sure about getting one. I got one because I have a group of buddies that are planning to go dog-fighters and bomber's mostly but they refuse to be cooped up inside of some-one else's star ship for bomber runs, except for a few other buddies of mine. So I got an Idris for me and my gamer circle to try and stay together in the PU.

I'll eventually get an idris in game and hopefully a destroyer too, but it'll be a while unless the group I plan starts building funds collectively.

Okay my parents are officially awesome, I mentioned that there was going to be a sale of a really cool ship and that I was bummed 'cause if it had happened a month later I  could get it. Their response, "Don't worry about it, use our credit card and pay us back when you can." In short, I'm getting an Idris.

I'm recruiting my friends into the game now, and have four, maybe five. Which would fill out all the seats for my Freelancer, Super Hornet, and Aurora. If this offer is still open come Pitchfork Day, I might take you up on it and let my friends pilot my ships.

I told them it'd be around $1300, that's two weeks pay once I start my job.

Nice. Yeah, I think a few more of us *could* get an Idris if we wanted to, but can't quite take that leap. ;-)

HI all
All of the New backers that want to purchase limited ships, I would suggest gifting an equal value of what you want to spend to an OB/VB of your choice 24 hours prior to the sale starting. We simply will not be able to wait out the 24 hour cool down in the time available.  But a little per-planning you can get everything you want. Also if you are planning on getting a Freelancer or Connie Variant, they will be upgrades so get your LTI base models before the deadline...

PS the XI'An explorer may also be available....

Might want to wait until 15th tho (this friday!) so we will see what's available. If M50 comes up on sale I'll try to bounce for one, since I want to make space ram out of it and Leroy Jenkins to the nearest Vanduul cap ship. So just chill out and wait until we know what's out there to buy, after that we can spam poor 'ol xeri and any other ob/vb you know and trust our paychecks and shiplists ;D

I want that damn Connie, the gods preserve me! That's all I care about. I don't have the money for an Indris, and I don't really care about the other ships.

I'll have to see how much cash I have after these next couple of projects on my house.

Ideally I'd ultimately love to have a connie, freelancer, and super hornet, however I don't think I'll be able to get them all before lti expires. If I'm lucky I'll be able to pick up the super hornet on the 26th, but the connie will definitely be a post LTI purchase :(

Sorry, man. :-/ When they announced on the livestream that it up, and then gone, it actually hadn't gone up yet. I managed to get the page refreshed when there were 5 left. But that was just to see if I could, I wasn't gonna buy one.

7 hours? There are 4 allotments, right? So wouldn't it be around 6 hours from when they last put them up?

I actually managed to get one just after the third batch went down, I guess someone's fell thru or something.

And the times were more or less random; batch one at 4:00, batch two at 11:47, and batch three at 14:30.
