You can now set your Discord ID in your forum profile though this will not mean much unless your account gets 'verified'.
To verify your account, enter your RSI Handle (your gray name - the unique one)
into your account settings. You can also set your Referral Code there.
The referral code will validate automagically, and blank out if validation fails. It just checks if the code actually belongs to someone.
Your RSI Handle won't go away on failed validation, but won't get verified (displayed to others) until it is. Nor will it pick out your org.
To verify, you need to add your handle here to
your profile on RSI, prefixed with OPPF: like so:
https://robertsspaceindustries.com/citizens/XeriarNotice the line:
OPPF: Xeriar
to say I'm me.
Additionally, it will not verify civilians. Make sure you have set something else - anything else - as your pledge badge.
After several minutes, it should verify you and you will see the lines above your signature in your posts (I'll work on making it prettier eventually >_>)
Once verified, you can delete this bit from your bio.
Note that, if you change your RSI handle, it will point to your old name, and won't let you link to that same account. I'm planning on building detection for this into some of the more advanced org handling - note that you will need to link your account here to the same account on RSI.
Once I have the three-way chat integration setup, verified accounts will have their messages passed between sites.
Additionally, only verified accounts will be able to specify their ship roster if/when I actually get that finished. >_>
There are also a few other goodies I want to put in, though that's mostly cosmetic.
